"People often ask me where I come from and how I got here. I have lived many different lives: engineer, physicist, banker, politician, philanthropist. And with every new stage, I have questioned the meaning of my life in a different way.

I don't believe in God, but I do believe in myself. If self-confidence is the most powerful driving force, it goes hand in hand with the assurance that there is a chance for each one of us to free ourselves and thrive.

I am convinced that talent can shake up the walls, and I strive to contribute to this by defending freedom of expression and emancipation, through my personal commitments, the support I provide and the actions of my foundation.
